Taj al-Muluk Farmanfarma’iyan writes to her mother Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from Berlin, to pass along her father [‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar]'s last words: that he has faith in ‘Izzat al-Saltanah and that she should keep his children happy. Taj al-Muluk tells ‘Izzat al-Saltanah that she has promised this to her father on her mother's behalf.
